Top left is the Alpha, the first letter of the Greek Alphabet signifying God at the beginning of the story. The hand of God the Creator reaching down to touch and bring healing to a broken world is symbolised by the spiralling sphere. This spiralling movement also reflects the inward and outward dynamic energy and healing power of God the Great Physician. Healing takes place through Christ’s suffering on the cross represented by the Agape Centre logo.

Tear drops falling down remind us that Christ expressed his own emotions of compassion and vulnerability (John 11:35 ‘Jesus wept’).

The suggestion of a basin and a hand touching the hem of a garment reminds us of the washing of feet, service to others and the power of faith in healing.  The two figures (left) represent the laying on of hands and prayer while DNA and genes symbols represent advancement in modern medicine.  Leaves suggest the healing of the nations and of the wider world.

The simple contemporary scene below reflects comfort, intimacy, the nurturing involvement and tenderness, all attributes of care. These scenes all reflect healing taking place in the community.  The dominant colours of the window are red and orange reflecting Gods creative energy.
